Happy Easter

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.

~ John 3:16-17

Brunch Time In The South

One of my favorite weekend activities is Bruch! It might be too late for breakfast or too early for lunch, but in the South, it is always the right time for brunch! It is pretty common down here for families to get together on Saturday or Sunday for brunch, or just enjoy a big ole brunch fest after Church on Sunday. What Southerner wouldn’t want to enjoy some wonderful breakfast food and a mimosa or grey hound in the late morning and early afternoon? So grab a mimosa and great ready to write down some great brunch recipes! Click on the name of the brunch item for the recipe.

Sucker For Seersucker

Ever good Southerner knows that Easter is the start to the seersucker wearing season! I for one love seersucker; you can never have too much, especially during those summer months. Hair Accessories

A Southern Belle knows about humidity in the South and what it can do to a girl’s hair! Some days a ponytail or a headband are a girl’s best friend down here. I have had my fair share of hair battles, that’s for sure! I have curly hair and in the spring in summer depending on the day it just has a mind of its own! Hair accessories not only help keep your hair under control, but can also be used to add a little extra something special to your hairstyle! So whether you are looking to glam your style up a bit or are trying to keep your hair under control, here are some of my favorite hair accessories. Click on the name of the accessory for the link.

The Mental Vacation

Ever wish you could just teleport yourself somewhere fabulous and "BAM!" instant vacation. Better yet, have the ability to twitch your nose like Samantha from Bewitched. That way, all you have to do is twitch your nose to go on a vacation and you wouldn’t even have to pack. You could just twitch yourself something new to wear everyday; unfortunately that isn’t a possibility. This time of year it is especially hard to keep up your everyday routine and not wish you could be at the beach or somewhere else spectacular. Every now and then it is nice just to be able to escape even if it’s just for a few minutes. So here are a few places where I like to take my mental vacation.

Get Your Rain Boots!

London isn't the only place with cold, damp weather this week. It is no secret that we have been experiencing some unusually cold weather down South for this time of year. Last year around this time I was walking around in a sundress and sandals, and today it is supposed to snow…yes, snow; I kid you not. Either Mother Nature didn’t get the memo that it’s springtime, or she has decided to extend our winter in the South since we didn’t get any snow to speak of this year. Taking into account the cold weather and the fact that it is supposed to snow today, I thought I would share with you some stylish rain boots that will keep your feet warm, and that you can wear year around! Click on the name of the rain boot for the website. Happy springtime/snow day from the South!
